According to the report, many weaknesses have been reported in Android, which can be obtained by an attacker sensitive informationReceive advanced privileges, execute arbitrary code or deny the terms of service on the target system.
There are weaknesses in Android due to flaws in framework, systems, amologic, ARM components, mediatek components, Qualcomm components and Qualcomm closed-source components.
In addition, successful exploitation of these weaknesses can allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information and gain privilege and can also run arbitrary code or even deny service on the target system.
Affected Android Edition
Weaknesses have been found within several versions of Android, including Android 11, Android 12, Android 12L, Android 13 and Android 14 operating system. In addition, it affects both Android-operated smartphone and tablet.
What is the solution
The government body has advised users to implement the latest security patch available for their equipment.
To check the update, follow these steps:

  • Open settings on your smartphone or tablet
  • Tap on software updates
  • Then, tap on the check for the update button.
  • Hit installed, if any update is available.
  • Wait to download and install it.
  • Once done once, restart the phone.
